Caroline talks about why Community Christmas started and the plans for the future. It was a wide ranging discussion about the challenges of community engagement but also recognising the year round benefit to the community of contact on Christmas Day.

As well as appealing for events to come forward and take advantage of a free website list Caroline talked about the support they can offer new events to get going.

Indeed after a short break with David Bowie being played Kat played excerpts from a pre-recorded interview with Kathy Thomas who started up an event in Thame which will be running again this year.

No elderly person in the UK should be on their own on Christmas Day unless they want to be
